Nancy Evans has served in the Atlanta North pastorate since 2002; six years as an associate pastor, and the last two years as the senior pastor. Before serving in church leadership roles Nancy taught for 30 years in Cobb County middle schools.
Nancy and her husband, Donald, have a daughter, Ginny, who lives in San Francisco. Donald and Nancy enjoy traveling, hosting guests in their home, and kayaking the rivers of Florida and north Georgia. Everyone knows where to find their pastor when she's not in the office or out visiting . . . . in her vegetable garden, of course!
Nancy LOVES to hear reports like this from the members of her church family:"For months I've felt God nudging me to start a youth group in my neighborhood. I don't have much time, but this is important. Our first youth meeting is next week!" When an individual in the Body of Christ finds a cause that breaks their heart and then accepts God's challenge to meet that need, the mission of Christ is fulfilled!
